Four Things is a weekly roundup of images, articles, thoughts and customer snapshots from my feed.
The sensitive work of Japan/Germany based graphic designer Hirofumi Abe is flat, yet full of symbolic life forms.
Japanese Exhibition Poster: Wake in the Morning, by Hirofumi Abe
I saw this band playing live at Urban Spree, Berlin. They were shy and excited when I went to ask about a CD after the show, and wrote down their bandcamp in my notebook next to my Hebrew notes, and everything seemed so normal.
I had a 4-hour long lunch meeting with my friend Adva, who has two clothing brands of her own and is a knits specialist. She stopped by the neighborhood to help me plan out a special project that I had no idea where to start, explaining all the details, file formats, and contacts I might need; then we moved on to exchange little bits and tips we'd picked up about everything relating to running our kind of business. We both came away with the same feeling on our minds: in 2016, sharing knowledge is the real power.
Look for the results of this project in November :)
